Information you give us

• Drop alert signup: your first name, mobile phone number and the location you select.

• Orders: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and order details. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card number.

• Messages to us: anything you send to contact@statebasics.com or through our contact form.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, links clicked, and how you arrived at our site (for example, from an ad).

• This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including our website platform and the advertising pixels described below.

• To send you text alerts about upcoming and live drops, if you opted in.

• To process, ship and support your orders, and to send order confirmations and shipping updates.

• To email customers about their orders and, where allowed, about future drops and offers (such as loyalty discount codes).

• To measure and improve our ads, website and products.

• To prevent fraud and comply with the law.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the box on our signup form, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from State Basics at the number you provided, mainly around drop days. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email contact@statebasics.com.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging data is shared only with the service provider that sends our texts, solely to deliver them.

Email

We use the email address you provide at checkout to send order-related messages. We may also send customers marketing emails about upcoming drops and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Opting out of marketing emails does not stop order-related messages.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

• Wix hosts our website, store and forms.

• Wix Payments and Apple Pay process payments.

• Textla sends our text messages.

• Printful prints and ships orders, so it receives your name, shipping address and order details.

• Our email service provider sends order and marketing emails.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

Cookies and advertising pixels

Our site uses cookies and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok Pixel. These tools record actions such as page views, signups and purchases so we can measure our ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site. Meta and TikTok may use this information as described in their own privacy policies.

• Texts: reply STOP to opt out.

• Marketing emails: click unsubscribe in any marketing email.

• Opting out of targeted advertising: depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the use of your information for targeted ads. Email us and we will honor your request.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards and rely on established providers to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy or as required by law.

State Basics is an independent clothing brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any college, university or athletic program.
